Everyone who works at franny’s is concerned about their environmental footprint. Yet making changes on a business level can sometimes be even more difficult. Bottled water has always been an issue. We have tried over and over again to find a local water source that uses sustainable practices and whose taste we like. We have tried to install a filtration system and we have tried sourcing local seltzer instead of Italian sparkling. After going back to the drawing board time after time, we have finally found our solution. So Clear Beverages offers restaurant customers an alternative to the many non-reusable bottled still and sparkling waters that are shipped to the U.S. from far away. Since switching to So Clear, we’ve used hundreds less glass water bottles and we aren’t shipping bottled water from Italy anymore. We source right around the corner, from Maine. This is one more step toward being the most sustainable restaurant we can be. So Clear Beverages has made this an easy transition by providing a sustainable and delicious product; one that we can be proud of here at franny’s.
